The stock 20" tire size is a 33" tire. Your problem isn't that 33's won't fit, it's that 12.50's won't fit. At least not on a 2006-up truck with stock rims and without spacers. You should be able to run those tires with 1/4" slip-on spacers that leave plenty of lug stud to bolt up to.
